Master Duel Tip Update: Convert SRs into Free Packs!

Overview

As some of you might know from playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, when you craft a card of SR rarity or higher, you gain access to its Secret Pack. You also get one free pull from that secret pack the first time you do so. So, Master Duel Reddit user Jojocheck created a strategy to maximize the amount of free packs received by crafting a small amount of SR Cards.

The strategy essentially boils down to this: by crafting SR cards that belong to multiple Secret packs, you essentially gain access to multiple free pulls, which on average give you more than what you put in.

For example, take the card Loading... :

This innocuous SR card belongs to three different Secret Packs: Altered Heraldry, Colossal Mech, and Timeworn Legacies. By crafting this one card you essentially get a crack at three packs, which has the potential to increase your return quite substantially! There are several Super Rare cards we can use with this tactic to maximize our chance of return.

Cards to Craft

According to Jojocheck, simply by crafting these SR cards you will be granted one free pull from 76 different Secret Packs. Pay attention to the secret packs, however, as you may have already received your free pull for that particular pack from your own crafting, which reduces the efficiency of any one card.

It should be noted that while you do get a ton of free pulls for crafting these, nothing is guaranteed. On average by pulling 76 packs you are likely to gain enough value in SRs and URs to make it worth but it is still a gamble nonetheless, especially considering the cards you are crafting are generally not too useful. Craft at your own risk!
