Introduction

Hello, my name is

, a Madolche Deck Helper, and this is my Guide to Madolche!

Madolche is an archetype of sweet, magical dolls that swarm the field and recycle themselves. Our goal is to disrupt our opponent enough to prevent them from breaking our board through Loading... , and then proceed to break their board using Loading... .

Starters

Madolche Anjelly
Madolche Anjelly

She can Special Summon any "Madolche" monster from your Deck, making her a really good combo piece as well as a starter.

Notable targets for her to Summon are:

  1. Loading... , as you will need a Beast-type "Madolche" monster on the field in order to resolve Loading... 's effect.
  2. Loading... if you already control Loading... or Loading... .
  3. Loading... , who can then bring out either of the aforementioned targets.
Madolche Petingcessoeur
Madolche Petingcessoeur

She can Special Summon herself from your hand to the field, and in addition to that has an effect on the field that, when Special Summoned, she can Special Summon any "Madolche" monster from your Deck to the field, but lower their Level by 1. This effect can be triggered by a Vernusylph monster like Loading... that Special Summons her out of the GY, so you can be a bit more creative and work around the restrictions!

She requires your GY to be empty to use her effect in the hand, and she also will lock you to only special summoning "Madolche" monsters for the rest of the turn if you resolve her second effect.

Notable targets for her to Summon are Loading... , Loading... , and Loading... .

Madolche Magileine
Madolche Magileine

Being able to search any "Madolche" monster in your Deck on a Normal Summon is pretty good, especially since you can search for Loading... to combo with, or use Loading... to Normal Summon an additional time.

The mandatory inclusion of her is to take advantage of the search from Loading... , as you will generally have an additional Normal Summon granted by Loading... , and then use her to search Loading... for Meowcaroons to Special Summon for you (Meowcaroons is a "Beast" Madolche monster, so it will meet Messengelato's requirements).

Madolche Hootcake
Madolche Hootcake

Like Loading... , Hootcake can bring out any "Madolche" monster from your Deck, but by banishing a monster from your GY instead. Vernusylph combos can easily help you meet this goal as well as Special Summon Hootcake itself without using your Normal Summon.

You will bring him out in almost all your combos. Generally through Loading... (for battle immunity) or Loading... .

Vernusylph of the Misting Seedlings
Vernusylph of the Misting Seedlings

Vernusylph of the Misting Seedlings, or "Duck", is a very powerful starter (if you open him and any other monster) and extender. He is able to search any Earth Fairy monster to add to the hand (such as Madolche monsters like Loading... and other monsters such as Loading... ), as well as Special Summon any Earth monster from your GY (which can even be the cost you sent to activate his effect).

Being able to Special Summon any "Earth" monster from the GY can lead to plays such as triggering Loading... , triggering Loading... (if you control Loading... or Loading... ), or starting your combo with Loading... or Loading... .

Vernusylph of the Flourishing Hills
Vernusylph of the Flourishing Hills

Sharing similarity to Loading... , but can only add other Vernusylph monsters to the hand instead, thus making it a starter in theory but requires multiple monsters. You can use this to add either Loading... itself to help find a starter or Loading... to help set up the GY and extend.

It can also kick start cards such as Loading... , Loading... , and Loading... .

Combo Pieces

Madolche Messengelato
Madolche Messengelato

His purpose is to grab "Madolche" Spells/Traps from the Deck and add them to your hand. He requires that you also control a "Madolche" Beast-type monster (Loading... or Loading... ) and he must be Special Summoned for this effect to work, making him a bit awkward to work with when drawn into.

A notable application of his effect is to Special Summon him off of using Loading... , Loading... while you control Loading... or Loading... , or off of Loading... in order to trigger both him and Loading... !

Please keep in mind that this effect is "When" and not "If". If you are not aware of the differences, please read the following quick explaination

Loading... 's effect to search is "When", meaning that it must be the last thing to happen on the chain in order to resolve.

For example, if Loading... and Loading... are both triggered at the same time... if the chain is built like the following;

  1. Madolche Ticket (Mandatory)
  2. Madolche Salon (Mandatory)

It then resolves backwards. Loading... resolves, setting a Madolche Spell/Trap directly from the Deck. And then, Loading... resolves and Special Summons Loading... from the Deck.

In this case, Loading... will resolve correctly and allow you to search your Spell/Trap!

However if the chain were to be built like

  1. Madolche Salon (Mandatory)
  2. Madolche Ticket (Mandatory)

Resolving backwards would have Loading... trigger, Special Summoning Loading... . And then, Loading... would resolve, setting a Madolche Spell/Trap directly from the Deck.

In this case, Loading... has missed its oppurtunity to activate and you will not search!

Madolche Puddingcess
Madolche Puddingcess

She can be Special Summoned by Loading... (either from the hand or Deck) who then would lower her Level to 4, enabling her to be used as material for the Summon of Loading... or Loading... . You can also Special Summon her using Loading... , which would result in her unfortunately keeping her Level at 5, but giving her battle destruction prevention.

Loading... has an alternative Summoning method that allows you to Summon her off a Rank 4 Madolche Xyz monster, transfering the materials. This enables her to use her second effect to Special Summon "Madolche" monsters from the Deck, as she now has Loading... as material. This was previously a critical part of our combo, but is now a legacy option due to the introduction of Loading... .

At the current moment, the recommended amount to run her at is 0. However, you can still run one copy if you feel the desire to have these lines available (they can be useful in breaking boards).

Vernusylph of the Awakening Forests
Vernusylph of the Awakening Forests

While unable to help you as a starter if you don't open another starter... it still has an incredible effect to send an Earth monster from the Deck to the GY while also Special Summoning a monster from the GY (aside from the one you just sent). Can be used in conjunction with other "Madolche" cards such as Loading... , Loading... , Loading... to kick start a combo while also sending Loading... to the GY to add to your hand later on with the effect of Loading... under Loading... .

Additionally, our newly added Link 3 monster Loading... can also add the target back to hand under Loading... as well, and fairly consistently. Just make sure to use the effects of your Vernusylph monsters before using the second effect of Loading... !

Madolche Butlerusk
Madolche Butlerusk
Secret Village of the Spellcasters

Butlerusk can search any Field Spell from your Deck and add it to your hand. While Loading... would seem to be the intended card to add, you can actually add Loading... as Butlerusk himself is also a Spellcaster. In your Main Combo line, if you managed to extend, you can bring him out fairly consistently enough through the combination of Loading... and Loading... , and then prevent your opponent from activating Spells Cards (assuming they don't run Spellcasters).

In addition to this, he can be searched out of the Deck with Loading... . Loading... can also be ran in order to make this easier to achieve.

Running 0 is recommended, but don't be afraid to try it out.
