What is Paleozoic?
Paleozoic is a series of trap cards that each possess a unique effect on the field and double as Normal Monster cards using the following effect:
Once per Chain, when a Trap Card is activated while this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon this card as a Normal Monster (Aqua/WATER/Level 2/ATK 1200/DEF 0). (This card is NOT treated as a Trap.)
If Summoned this way, this card is unaffected by monster effects.
Paleozoic was previously considered to be too slow for modern Yu-Gi-Oh, but everything changed when the fire nation attacked Loading...
was released. This card alone has elevated Paleozoic into a playable strategy and has revitalized experimentation with the deck.
Why should I play the deck?
- You're fed up of games being over in 2 turns.
- You like making most of your opponents hand traps useless.
- You want to play Yu-Gi-Oh without playing hand trap minigames.
- You enjoy being able to go toe-to-toe with meta decks and win.
What is the gameplan of the deck?
Drain your opponent's resources and cut them off from anything that will hurt you. Knowing the ins and outs of the deck your opponent is playing is mandatory, as you'll need to know where to hit them to prevent them from repeatedly resolving recursion cards such as Loading... or setting up omni negates like Loading... .
