Master Duel Meta Report: Strong Will + Passage of the Sun
Strong Will brought with it one of the most powerful engines in recent memory: retrains of Ishizu Ishtar's monsters from the Duel Monsters anime. Loading..., Loading..., Loading..., and Loading... offers unrivaled milling and GY disuption to any deck that cares about sending cards from the Deck to the GY, and even when arriving in their semi-limited state it was not enough to prevent the rise of decks that use them to their fullest extent; while this took form in the shape of new decks like Ishizu Chaos, existing decks of all types dipped their toes in, with some having extremely positive outcomes. Branded Despia with the Ishizu engine for example has seen competitive success this format, while also seeing extremely high representation in March's Duelist Cup. Passage of the Sun was unfortunately a filler pack, bringing no new cards or decks to the competitive scene, though fans of the decks involved were overjoyed with the new support (Loading... and Loading... especially).
Spright
Spright still sees itself at the top of the tower, having a hefty lead in representation compared to other decks, though this amount has shrunk massively compared to the previous format; it appears now that the deck was not as dominant as it had appeared in the previous report, instead seeing excess representation due to being both new as well as a fan favourite deck.
There is little to say about the actual content of decks; while there has been some experimentation with the Ishizu cards, each variant stills plays as it did in the prior format. Read last format's article if you wish to see deeper insight into popular variants.

Branded Despia has rocketed back into prominence over the last month. The Spright hype has died down, and the players are getting more comfortable in the matchup, bringing back to light the powerhouse Branded Despia has always been. While still the clearly weaker deck compared to Spright the gap is not as large as some believed it to be; Despia is still more than capable of winning the matchup, and its unique multiple-stage disruption can make it impossible for Spright decks to stick a Level 2 onto the field.
Of note is the introduction of the Ishizu cards, turning the short turns of Despia into full-on explosive combos in combination with Loading.... This variant is around the same level of popularity as the typical way the deck is played, making a consistency tradeoff in exchange for a much higher potential ceiling.
