Master Duel Meta Report: Dreaded Conspiracy
Dreaded Conspiracy was never going to be able to surpass the past few Seletion Pack releases in terms of excitement, though it came very close. Both Dark World and Traptrix are beloved fan-favourite archetypes, and both were brought into the modern metagame with an array of new support. Though it was unsuccessful at making an impact on a competitive level, the decks are still more than capable of taking games.
Also arriving in smaller quantities were Generaider, Magikey, Labrynth, and Evil Eye, all of which have smaller but dedicated players that were excited to play with their long-awaited toys. Labrynth in particular saw a decent level of competitive success, though still not enough to give it a place in the Master Duel meta.
Ultimately this Selection pack will go down as one that provided a fun gameplay experience for a lot of players, though not one that significantly impacted the competitive level.
Tearlaments
Tearlaments undeniably reigned as the pre-eminent deck in the format, coming as no surprise to anyone who has been playing the game for longer than an hour. The lack of meaningful hits or introduction of competitors all but guarantees the deck's supremacy until either of those things happen. Some may be hopeful with Kashtira on the horizon, but others would ask that they prepare to be disappointed.

What does come as a surprise however is the titantic drop Spright experienced this format compared to the last, despite nothing of significance changing. Beyond basic predictions there appears to be no rhyme or reason as to explain the deck's comparatively bad performance to last month.
Spright remains as strong as ever regardless of these results, able to go toe to toe with any deck in the game and come out on top without much difficulty.
