Master Duel Meta Report: Battle Trajectory
With Selection Pack: Battle Trajectory arriving near the beginning of November, people were not particularly hopeful for the upcoming release due to its poor performance in paper formats, leading many to expect another month of Despia dominance.
While this expectation did indeed come true, the introduction of certain cards within Battle Trajectory made more of a splash than the predecessor, Cosmic Ocean, did.

A Scareclaw Arrival
Forecasted to bomb by the community, Scareclaw saw little success at this point in time in paper formats. A difference maker in Master Duel was the early release of Power of the Elements support cards Loading... and Loading..., the former of which is a useful protection tool or OTK enabler for a deck who aims to do just that, while the latter is an immensely powerful support card that makes one wonder how the deck was even intended to be played before it had released. With this early support, Scareclaw saw decent levels of success both as a pure variant as well as alongside the Tri-Brigade engine, eventually peaking with the grand finals of Dkayed Meta Weekly #41. Despite this, the deck did not clear the prerequisite success to get an individual segment further in this article.
A Long-Awaited Banlist
November hit us with what most would agree is a long-overdue of Loading..., and with its departure, Floowandereeze also exited stage left. Despite several tops during the month of November, the complete destruction of the deck's competitive viability has left it without further mention in this article. No longer would the player base have to deal with a floodgate that locks the majority of decks out of playing. Unless...
Despia
Despia put out results even greater than ever before comparatively, far outstripping other decks in the same period. The addition of Secret Pack: Alba Abyss, which gives further support to what is already the most powerful deck, has led many to think that December spells the demise of the deck after the Duelist Cup. Until then however, Duelists are faced with an even stronger terror than that of Loading... in the form of Loading... setting up Loading... or Loading... to prevent the opponent from playing the game, with the option of pivoting to the traditional Despia playstyle if interrupted.
While this may be fearsome on the ladder, players in tournaments have by and large chosen to play the deck as it was originally, opting to set up a Loading... play on the opponent's turn, bolstered by Loading..., which while generally powerful proves itself absurd in the mirror.
Players should be prepared for yet another month of Branded Despia domination unless Runick manages to shake the meta as it has appeared to do so far.

Dragon Link managed to be the second greatest contender this month despite no new support, though it was still a significantly worse showing compared to Despia. Even with Loading... giving Despia a completing free matchup going second, the deck is a powerhouse and can often play through multiple disruptions. With the potential hitting of Despia and Branded cards this month, it would be no surprise to see Dragon Link become the top dog.
