Master Duel Meta Report: Beginning of Turmoil + Mysterious Labyrinth
With Beginning of Turmoil ultimately having no impact on the Master Duel metagame. While this is not particularly surprising, the fact it came out partway through the month instead of at the regularly scheduled time has caused two shorter periods as opposed to the regular month-long reporting period.
Due to this, this article will be encompassing both Mysterious Labyrinth and Beginning of Turmoil. Readers that wish to know the stats for only Beginning of Turmoil can subtract the last chart's results from this one if desired.

The little change in this meta has led to a kind of stagnation, so segments will not be particualrly wordy. Hopefully with the introduction of Heroic Warriors there will be more to discuss next month.
Swordsoul
Against expectations (especially my own from previous sets), Swordsoul players have come out of the woodwork and brought the deck up to the most represented in the last month, tied with Runick. It seems Konami's Challenge Cup has inspired players to return to Normal Summon Mo Ye, and with incredible success.
Deck lists have not significantly changed since the inception of Swordsoul; players are simply playing the deck more and or better, and the raw power and consistency of the deck enables it to face off against any other deck

Runick has unsurprisingly established itself as the most represented deck alongside Swordsoul. Enticing players by being easy to play, easy to win with, a unique play style, and immunity to a large variety of unfun cards (which coincidentally they themselves are capable of running), Runick is not likely to go anywhere soon.
There have been several variants that have seen success thus far, from Synchro to even Despia, but the most played and successful variant has been a stun version that utilizes various floodgates to stop the opponent from playing the game while the Runick player quickly decks the opponent out

Despia has dropped off slightly, potentially due to the recent semi limit to Loading.... Players are still favouring the Frightfut engine over Adventurer, though some have chosen to forgo both and play something more focused.
