N/R Festival Announced

Overview.

Konami has announced the N/R Festival, which will take place from March 23rd to April 3rd.

Players will play under the following restrictions

UR and SR cards aren't the only strong cards! Let's get into the fascinating world of N and R rarity cards! This is a great way to see how you can build a Deck with a select pool of cards. In this event, you are only able to use cards with N and R rarity in your Main and Extra Decks.

Players will earn Medals when they Duel in the N/R Festival and gain various rewards for each Medal they earn!
Players will gain Medals whether they win or lose, even with sample decks!
Players will not earn medals for surrendering!

Some cards will be Forbidden, Limited or Semi-Limited for the N/R Festival (Partial List):

All SR / UR Cards Forbidden
SOME cards with the rarity of N or R related to the archetypes of "True Draco", "Megalith", "Majespecter", "Generaider", "Timelord", "Phantasm Spiral", and "Tenyi" Archetypes. (Full List to be confirmed March 17th)

The following cards will be Limited, Semi-Limited or Forbidden for the N/R Festival (Partial List)

Cards that deal Effect Damage to the opponent, cards that can easily be used to defeat oneself, and other cards that may affect the balance of the event.

NOTE: The above stated cards are only a portion of the event-exclusive Forbidden/Limited List. Detailed restrictions will be revealed March 18th.
