what is this control in the top??? Ban dinomorphia and runik rn. duster and rr to 3. Max c keeps combo in check.
i tried playing labrynth and realised how scuffed trap decks actually are and was forced to switch decks from losing to backrow hate. Die to duster, die to lightning storm, die to ash, die to turn 1 chimera, die to turn one blackout, die to not drawing engine, die to not drawing interruption, die to negate boards or dpe. And yet most people are asking for floodgates to be banned when in reality first and foremost duster and rr are some of the most banworthy cards in the game full stop. Duster is equivalent of a card that says banish all monster ur opp controls face down, ur opp cannot activate monster effects in reaction to this card. Combo decks do not need to live in fear and anxiety of such a card every time they end turn. That's why u just switch to playing despia or runik which doesnt insta loose to that nonsense and ur good to go.
Difference between u and me is I dont cry about harpies and rr like u cry about skill drain and barrier statue and adjust my playstyle. U just cry about floodgates until they get hit and control decks pushed out of the format as weve seen with eldlich and floo and soon runik. There cannot ever be a tier 2 or 3 control deck or ull cry till its gone (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ).
"MaXx C kEePs CoMbO iN cHeCk" or maybe, instead of relying on a single broken and extremely toxic card to keep the game in check, a card abused the MOST by combo decks since it turns into "draw the out or lose", maybe we could use the banlist to keep the game in check. You know, the thing in the game meant to keep things in check? Maxx C is a problem card that's acting as a terrible band-aid fix excuse for Konami to not put effort into actually balancing their game.
