Sanctifire requires that you commit materials to a fusion summon that isn't simply a part of your usual combo. Sanctifire has uses other than floodgating the opponent (targeting protection, flexing into a different fusion on the opponent's turn, etc). It's also an extremely telegraphed all-in play that can be disrupted, unlike, say, Stun flipping floodgates with Golgonda on board, or Gimmick Puppets doing anything at all.

the legendary event did not have ash/fuwalos and a lot of other handtraps\nit also did not have a single meta deck\nthis event also have millinium exodia as one of its strongest deck although granted it might not be the strongest by a huge margin like that event\nas someone who played both events, they felt the same for me\nI love the first event however because the strongest deck was a deck that can be played by everyone, meaning those who have a life and touch grass have same winning chances as someone who can't help but give his entire life savings to konami and for that reason I love first event a bit more

Daily missions are 3600, like you said, then log in bonus plus watching duel live is another 750. Then you typically have a festival or event that nets 3100. Then you will get some gems just from rewards from playing games and bonuses from advancing in the ranks in rated. 10k a month isn't crazy, though 9-9.5k is probably a bit more realistic.

Also you don't have to play every day, just login every day then completing your dailies every three days would be enough to do this. The festival would take a bit more time, probably. But I imagine its possible to get all of these gems by only playing ~8 hours in a month. Maybe even less.

Yeah too bad that powerful decks can play handtraps too and not only that, but also they can play much more of them than the less powerful decks can afford to (otherwise they lose too much consistency/ceiling), so that point makes 0 sense.

Moreover, if you bothered to read everything i wrote, i also said "meta decks nerfed to the ground", making the point of needing handtraps even more nonsense.
