Hello everyone Dm enjoyer 👋👋\nanother season with another master 1 dark magician deck list \nafter failing with the azamina cards i decided to go back to my old list with some adjustments.\nthis meta was definitely one of the worst ones , you either play against the best deck in the game or play against every floodgate in the game .\nI've been facing a ton of anti GV decks mainly stunn decks and kash which hard counters dm , but i managed to reach m1 .\nsurprisingly tenpai is still one of the most used decks and that's one kf the reasons that made me play floodgates Alongside everyone playing maxxc and fuwlalus, this deck draw a ton of cards and that's was one of the main keys of seeing my floodgates while having dragoon for protection.\nthe deck has an insane grind game as well with Bystils recycling themselvesand recycling the dm cards every turn alongside the toy cards gives an insane grind game against the top tier meta decks .I don't play super poly anymore cuz the meta decks right now ends on different attribute boss monsters being apolo and the new fiendsmith boss monster and i:p and it really feels better to play more hand trps instead ( preferably hand traps that have the potential to end the turn like maxxc,droll and nib) and usually stunn decks don't care about super poly either. I also don't like sitting there watching my opponent combo for 30 minutes so there is that as well 😂😂.\nAnyway i hope you like the deck list \nand if you do check out some replays in game .\nSee y'all 👋

This was almost easy...until it wasn't. We got to within 1 win away twice before we fell hard. 60 cards was needed to play handtraps and board breakers, as well as maintain the DM cards that were a lot more helpful than I antipated. With that said, they are still outdated and bad...but hey that's why we love DM!

Hello everyone 👋\nI'm back again with a master 5 dark magician deck list.\nAnd this time using the new broken cards that got introduced to the game \nthe azamina engine is a really good engine that dm can play along side toy box , it has great synergy with both toy box a some of the dm cards cuz of the drawing power that allows cards like souls servant and rod to function. diabellstar was always a great addition to the toy dm toy box deck but it was always missing something, and it's now complete with the azamina crds .\ni have a very small wf engine there cuz it's in my opinion the best way to link all the engines together \nit also give me the ability of consistently summon the dark magicians alongside dragoon.\nI'm sorry to those who like playing pure dm , it's really hard to make pure work these days especially that every deck is getting insane engines and support while we already struggled against them without it \nso until we get some love from konami this will be the new way of playing dm \ntake care everyone see y'all in the M1 deck profile 👋👋👋

MASTER V DARK MAGICIAN/WHITE FOREST

This is a DM deck that heavily focuses on Diabellstar/White Forest/Magicians' Souls ability to send spell/traps to the Graveyard to get pluses. It should be self-explanatory, there's no spreadsheet combo line to follow.

A "combo" that I like alot is to summon Anaconda and use its effect, then if the opponent uses Veiler or Imperm on it, you chain Secrets of Dark Magic, dodge the Veiler or Imperm, and summon Magnum the Reliever + Dragoon on the same turn. (That's why its important to have Dark Magician in hand as much as possible). The Red-Eyes Fusion that you mill with Anaconda makes Magnum's effect live, so it's a great synergy.

Hello everyone 👋👋👋.\nI'm finally back from exams and i finally hit master 5 \nsorry if I'm late .\nThis meta made me hate Yu-Gi-Oh, this wasn't fun at all unfortunately \nI'm finally back to Bystils now that the meta isn't all tenpai, and for the main reason is tha new 1.5 dragoon village combo that i recently discovered ( i wish i did discorded this in the previous meta 😭💔) here's the combo : \nnormal diviner send herald to add ioc .\nioc add souls, souls summon dmg , synchro into ultimaya , set a card , summon the blasting dracoslayer , use it's effect to summon Majesty Pegasus the Dracoslayer,add village, make anaconda and summon dragoon \nthe combo needs a discard and a spell/trap/a toy box monster but that shouldn't be a problem, if you have an extender you can make i:p as well , unfortunately the combo loses to almost every hand trap in the game but it's a 1 card combo that uses carda that we already play in dm , diviner is also a real good card since you can summon her with toy tank , i cut quem and cartesia unfortunately, i was bricking a lot on them , I really feel like those cards are a win more cards and to me toy box + souls always wins the game anyway without the needs for quem and cartesia , feel free to play them if you want I'm definitely not against that , i might play cartesia again but I'll wait and see how the grind to m1 feels , no esoul or circle I'm sorry i tried to keep them but they're not worth it anymore, i was bricking on them and even when i had the chance to search them i didn't cuz they don't do anything, drawing 2 with soul sarvent is just better.Well this is the deck i hope you like it \nAnd make sure to check out YouTube I'm finally free to share my games with you guys, enjoy ❤️❤️\nedit: sorry guys for being late i tried making a video about the combos and the game play but i lost the replays , I'll be trying to hit master 1 and make sure to share the replays with the Changes to the deck ( if any)

Hello everyone, fellow Magicians! I have to say this format is truly a struggle due to the 6-9x Maxx "C". Unlike the previous season, I didn’t enjoy the climb at all, and I hope they do something about it soon (ban the roach) or I might try a more control-oriented version if I have the will to climb to Master 1 again.

I’m still playing a similar strategy compared to my list from last season, but I found myself forced to drop the triangle (Circle and Eternal Soul) to make room for Called by and Fuwalos. I didn’t like the change for the reasons I mentioned in my last Master 1 list, but as I said, it was necessary due to this format.

That said, Yubel was the most popular matchup, and there are still Tenpai players on the ladder. I didn’t track my stats from D5 to M5, but I’ll do it if I feel motivated to go for M1 again.

Master 1 pure DM

Hey guys! I'm posting the deck that made me get to Master 1 for the first time here.

Why robe? I just happened to run him at the time lol. His self-revive effect is useful, but feel free to cut him.
Why 3 Dark Magician? EVERY DM spell/trap is dead without him. Running 3 gives better chances to complete the DM triangle (Circle-Eternal Soul-DM) with Circle. He's also a good discard for Apprentice Illusion Magician (Makes Soul Servant online turn 1). Running 3 DMs was surprisingly less cloggy than I expected, but feel free to run the standard x2 DM and see how it goes.
Apprentice Illusion Magician She doesn't triggers Maxx C and her battle trick effect can catch people off guard. She's useful IMO
The Extra Deck I literally never summoned Guardian Chimera. x2 Artemis, Verte, Dragoon, and Silouhatte Rabbit are mandatory in my opinion. x2 Dragoon could also be good, but I'm too poor in UR dust lol. Other than that, the Extra Deck is flexible IMO. Feel free to experiment!

Combos:\nThe deck doesn't have complex lines, just try to get 2 bodies on the field to go for Verte or Silouhatte Rabbit turn 1 backed up by the DM triangle and/or floodgates. In your ideal opening play you can go for both Rabbit and Verte.\nThis is just what got me to Master 1 but feel free to modify and perfect this deck further! More non engine for going 2nd? sure! I proved pure DM can get to Master 1, that's all, but that's not the end of the journey. Good luck, DM players!

I went into some details in the video below so I'll be short here. It is a fun deck, it can pop off, it can be stopped by hand traps like all DM based decks. Getting to M1 is usually a grind and this deck is no exception. It was very challenging and had a lot of ups and downs.\nThis deck will dominate through Diamond 3, after that you gotta be the pharaoh and make some good plays with some luck. Hello again, everyone! I didn’t have much time to grind this season, but with a surprisingly high win rate, I finally reached Master 1 with the Ultimate Wizard once again!

This version of the deck uses the Toy Box engine, currently the best engine for Dark Magician, as it provides draws and extra bodies for Link and Synchro plays. The deck performed exceptionally well against most matchups, especially going first. I anticipated that Tenpai players would let me go first, and that’s exactly what happened. The deck plays through handtraps quite easily, but loses hard to Maxx C. If you want to add 2x Called by the Grave instead of relying on opening Ash Blossom, you can cut Circle and ES to include them since they are the 'least crucial' cards. However, I feel that doing so would take away the essence of the deck, so I decided not to do it.
