Had a decent time climbing with this FTK dopamine generator. Played most of the matches with the horus engine, but decided to swap it for three copies of Solar Recharge towards the end.

It can produce some absolutely unplayable hands and going second is really painful most of the time, but if it does get going it will play through multiple interruptions.

Earthbound Release FTK

For those uninitiated, this FTK revolves around the three card combo (keep reading...) of Nightmare Archfiends, Earthbound Release and Transaction Rollback.

Nightmare Archfiends lets us tribute one monster in order to summon three 2000 ATK LVL 6 tokens to opponent's field. Their controller takes 800 damage whenever one is destroyed.

Earthbound release can be triggered when a level 6+ monster is summoned to destroy all monsters your opponent controls and deal damage equal to their combined attack. Transaction Rollback gets around the activation cost (tributing 1 Level 10 "Earthbound" monster) and can be activated from the graveyard.

After some quick math (3x2000 + 3x800 = 8400) you can probably already see where we are going with this.

Gameplan and general tips

Focus on milling when going first. You only need a set Nightmare Archfiends and a single monster on the field and Transaction Rollback + Earthbound Release in the graveyard in order to win the game during your opponent's draw phase. Tribute the monster with Nightmare Archfiends and activate Rollback targeting Earthbound Release on resolution and that should be game regardless of what your opponent tries to do.

Don't be afraid to link summon just to clear more monster zones. You WILL mill three Wulfs at the same time sooner or later...

Archfiend Heiress can search Nightmare Archfiends when sent to the graveyard by a card effect. If you happen to mill both at the same time, you can potentially shuffle Nightmare Archfiends back into the deck using Keldo or Mudora after activating Heiress as Weiss is a valid target for Heiress

Visas Amritara can seem week after Primeval Planet Perlereino getting banned, but he can search and enable Tearlaments Scream and afterwards make Zombie Vampire with Minerva, the Athenian Lightsworn or Rulkallos.

Going second the only tactic we have is brute force (or brute gas?). Resolving Punishment Dragon's quick effect can be pretty funny in some matchups..
