Notes & Combos

As far as I know, this is the first DM deck to hit master rank! I've tested a lot of different ratios and this is the one I've had the most success with.

Ratios: DM at 1 may seem crazy, but believe me IT WORKS! If banished then it's easy to recycle back with Lubellion. 1 less brick in the deck so more room for tech.

With more normal summons in the deck I cut Rod to 2 and it's worked really well. I also cut Prep or Rites just for space necessity.

1 eternal soul & circle, I wanted 2 circle for searches but it just wasnt worth it at the end. Soul Servant at 3 bc it is a Pot of Greed with how easy it is to dump Mahad and Dm with Souls and/or Branded Fusion.

The tough calls were how many Bystials and Regained/Beast. I found that these ratios worked best and Regained/Beast together weren't worth it since I only ran a few Bystials. Regained has the better effect, so I cut Beast. If you can fit both then that's great, I also wanted to add another deployment for Cartesia plays but 2 is enough.

Going 2nd: Dark Ruler and Evenly really make me feel confident going 2nd. I took out Ash because DM can't go 1 for 1 on negates (it's just not powerful enough). DM is better suited letting the opponent set up their board and then using board breakers like Super Poly or Evenly to get by.

The Extra Deck: Some people like Link DM but that's not an option when you play Branded and Super Poly. The Extra Deck is tight and 4 spots are super poly targets and you can make the case to cut one, but I dont think the link you'd add would be more useful.

Setting the Dragon Knight Triangle (ES & Circle) is why we play Branded so that's the first goal of the deck. Branded Fusion and IOC/Rod/ES = Dragonite + Protection, if you also have a way to dump DM then you can set up your Bystial Triangle along with Dragonite with this hand.

Verte is "Him". Verte carries so hard in end game and going first to summon out a disruption in Mirror Jade.

Last but not least, Mysterion the Dragon Crown is our substitute to Dragoon. Not as strong, but can win games alone against Spright and Swordsoul. Mysterion gets the medal as honorary DM card.
