salad

trap heavy salad is great against tenpai but I think I'm not really running into that many so I'm sticking with this more balanced build anyway, so that I can still play go 2nd games with a reasonable handtrap expectation.
I included pyro phx in diamond rank and removed them after reaching master5.
code of soul in my opinion is a fine card to run to serve as an extender which is very welcomed by the salad combo, and its GY effect can be utilised to either summon my 3rd raging phx for follow up or triggering EMP in rare cases. although my primary target of horse prince is mostly ash over code of soul.
speedroid engine is good for scouting handtraps, and in most cases you actually WANT your opponent to negate the effect of the black horse you made with the 2 speedroids because having to combo with black horse when going 1st is really too compromising in terms of endboard options. on top of that, being able to preserve a normal summon could possibly have much greater significance. but unfortunately you have to tolerate the brick anyways.
a standard salad t1 combo is solid and can win the majority of games, but my replay of this deck actually shows how a well-played tenpai player can easily shoot through a standard salad end board (ie you can't always just hold your ash for kaimen)
tenpai is a good deck that requires solid skills and decent knowledge of game mechanics/rulings to really shine. it's really receiving too much undue hate.
