Notes & Combos

This is a going 2nd budget Punisher turbo deck. Winrate was roughly 50-60% with it. The only Extra Deck card that matters is Psychic End Punisher itself. Performapal Popperup is amazing with both burning LP and getting cards that help Punisher go live. That being said beware that this deck has a tendency to brick, and going 2nd is always inherently risky.

If you brick and have a Kuriphoton in your hand, consider trying to stall with it for another turn and minimize other LP loss, in case you top deck a Popperup. This deck could be made more consistent with more SR/UR cards, but this is what I had available.

Cards to consider:

  • The Ascended of Thunder (SR), a lv 7 -3k lp special summon.

  • Chaos Mirage Dragon (SR), a lv 4 tuner that can pop a card after you synchro, can also revive a banished Mekk-Knight once every blue moon.

  • Incredible Ecclesia (SR), a lv 4 tuner with a mostly free special summon.

  • Mathmech Sigma (SR), a lv 4 tuner that can special summon itself after you synchro to use Punisher's banish effect.

There's a whole bunch of other SR/UR cards to consider, like more Raigekis, Lightning Storms, Pot of Desires, Triple Tactics Talent, etc.

Evenly Matched is awkward to use since you want to kill your opponent on the 2nd turn, but it's sometimes funny to use in combination of Kuriphoton on enemy turn 3 if they somehow don't have any negates.
