Notes & Combos
I based my deck around the following two decks:

and
https://www.masterduelmeta.com/top-decks/diamond-i/february-2023/spright/icekip/MdXv_ by Icekip
.
UNCLE YUU's deck formed my base; Gamma, Dark Beckoning and Frog engines as starters. The Underworld Goddess and Zeroboros for Masquerena quick effect.
By Icekip I was inspired by the idea of "control on the outcome of each game" and creating complex gamestates that require perfect play - what to respond to and what to let through. His inclusion of Pixies (and recommendation in comments) is brilliant, protecting on your opponents turn, or even helping OTK on your own turn, it can completely remove the threat of being forced to use Masquerena before battle phase.
I opted to not use any Mannequin Cat extras, distilling the deck to the goal of starting and protecting the main Spright engine.
.
Some comments:
- Opening with Swap Frog could lead to the searched Maxx "C" bounce more easily, but I found the Dark Beckoning opening to be more resilient, so that was my preference if I had both.
- Topologic was used against decks that tried to set their hand and leave main phase.
- Gamma Burst was very good for OTK, just 3 monsters can be >7200 damage. Gamma Burst alone can OTK very easily, no Cat Shark necessary, more so with Pixies (which can be used from the field).
.
Overall, the deck performed very well, I took a 15 winstreak from Diamond 4 (when I switched to it) all the way to Diamond 1. It was a stroke of good luck, so there wasn't any true refining on this list (I did switch Herald of Pure Light, which was being useless, for Soul Sweeper)
