Notes & Combos
As much as I hated the climb vs tear, it was relatively easy. What I found out was most of the tear players weren't really in control of their deckS, and had a massive lack of knowledge when it came to this one. Regardless, here are some tips for whoever is interested:
- 3 Ovi made me cut small world, as I feel consistency issues have been solved more or less... you will still brick...don't get me wrong, but you need ur hand traps rn, so small world has to go
- if you see 60 card decks, or if your opponent shows you he is playing tear, or any graveyard deck, just go dweller to make sure. If not, apo-uct-borreload and laggia is a pretty safe board
- hand traps need to counter tear... you can't be running ogre, gamma, or even nibiru anymore... imperm is great at 3 imo, as it covers tear and pretty much 90% of the decks, I use veiler as a 4th monster negate, crow and belle are obviously for tear too
- 4th and most important: BE SNEAKY WITH YOUR GRAVEYARD, with this shuffling back to the deck that is going on rn, you need to play very wise, take less powerful routs of play from time to time, because a weak board is better than no board
