(How did I get the winstrrak again? Ah yes. Luck.)

Mizael had won. And by doing so, he had taken over all of Kaito's monsters and deformed them into thralls to summon his (massively overrated and overhyped) Tachyon darling, by working Dragluxion to absolute unalivement. Nevertheless, because trouble hardly travels alone, he also had made sure to bring his slave intern Durbe to fetch Tachyon Cloudragon through Sentry.

Now he can truly flip his long feminine hair as the ultimate flexing gesture, while being smug about having the best dragons. ~~Too bad I have to play Galaxy Photon because of Faction's limitations as a result.

This event marks a new spin-off of the Duel Triangle event: the Dual Faction one. You have to choose between three factions, each composed of only 2 legal Attributes at the time, and get matched against the other 2 (unless the matchmaking breaks from lack of variety).

Said factions are:

  • DARK & WATER
  • LIGHT & EARTH
  • FIRE & WIND

At the cost of relinquishing Bulge, Child, Draglubion, Numeron, and the remainder of the deck's core identity, Tachyon is able to play in the event as a minor engine to the normally-inferior Galaxy Photon base...if only because they removed fun from this event by banning staples and obviously powerful cards (what is the point of these events if then only the favoured archetypes are playable? it's not like you got the incentive to play them outside. Konami has no sense of PR. None)

For the Galaxy Photon guide from the past event, click on my user name and the Galaxy Photon icon to check about indications there. Tachyon cards will be quickly elaborated on in the following list:

  • Veiler - No, it can't be added by 7th Tachyon. It's one of the few legal faction handtraps. As for the bricking, eh, I'm used to it
  • Wizard - Needed at 3 because the Deck bricks too much otherwise. I know very well
  • Vanisher - It lets you acquire GEPD!!! How you get rid of him after doing so, is not clear
  • Orbital - The only searcher that doesn't suck. Unfortunately, it requires you to have another monster to latch to. Boi.
  • Summoner - It sometimes comes up. Sometimes. Trance is better. The level fix is much better
  • Jumper - As a handtrap, it's absolute ash. As a target for Hundred, uhhh, let's say the mileage varies. A bit too much.
  • Delta Wing - It's an ok Normal Summon that fetches another copy. Now if only we had better Rank 4s...
  • Tachyon Cloudragon - 7th Tachyon. Specials a certain brick known by the name of Primal. God bless.
  • Galaxy Soldier - You have the guarantee the level is always (and I mean always) wrong due to GPD not being around. But it contributes. Well, at least it tries. Good thing you can pitch Veiler...
  • GEPD - Please someone get this ugly dragon off my face. And yet, Prime and Blast need him. A tragedy foretold.
  • Afterglow - Thanks to his effect he can make Prime OTK even without having GEPD originally attached. Can also work with Primal. Why can't everyone be like it. WAS IT THAT DIFFICULT?
  • Emperor - Let's see that the odds of milling him after or before Jumper are very slim. But you can always hope you draw Burial, right? I need Soldier rn.
  • Primal - Weren't for 7th, I wouldn't even consider it. Until they limit it, that's it. For the rest, it bricks, BUT it works with Cloudragon. It's a start.
  • Foolish - Emperor or Jumper
  • ROTA - Adds Jumper. What to do after, not clear
  • Trance - Perhaps the fact this deck relies on this in the current year should count as a red alarm. Especially when it locks Dragluxion. We lost Nebula and Bulge for this. Maaaan.
  • 7th Tachyon - I mean. Read it.
  • Hundred - Mills Jumper or Emperor. That's about it. If the stars align, you can rip cards from Extra, especially with Blast around.
  • Called - This deck goes first. I know. Crazy.
  • Imperm - Unlike a certain someone, it can be activated during your turn.
  • Transmigration - Not OPT and is searched by Dragluxion.
  • Sentry - 7th Tachyon
  • Blast - Fixes hands.
  • GPD - Good luck on getting the right hand.
  • GETD - Finally you can go first with this. Especially with Transmigration becoming a handtrap
  • Prime - This + Afterglow is an instawin
  • Cipher + Full Armor Package - Various uses. Read them all when you have the time
  • Lord - Very good monster negate to be combined with Transmigration. Now if only the search wasn't the slow
  • Neo-Prime - Never summoned it in the making, but it's always useful to have around. Even if summoned once every 3240 matches. And counting.
  • Dragluxion - Adds Transmigration before switching to GETD. Hysterical. Also gets blocked by Trance. I love this game
  • Zeus - Clutch Turn 3 playa. You see, they had banned Bagooska.
  • Solflare - Usefulness of this varies but it can clean low-stats from being used as recipients for OTKs. As for the destruction effect...nice meme.
