Notes & Combos
Konami really dropped the ball on balancing this event—you can barely use mid-tier decks.
This deck started as a Link Dragonmaid Bystial control deck with Spheres, but I got tired of constantly losing my interruptions to boardbreakers. So, I decided to try incorporating Runick for some added protection. I'm not entirely sure what category the current version falls into, so for now I'm calling it a Bystial Runick deck (even though it doesn’t include any Synchro monsters).
To be honest, the deck isn't great. I won most of my games purely through luck—either I drew a perfect hand or my opponent scooped because Runick gave them PTSD from past experiences.
That said, it's still fun to play. Unfortunately, this isn’t the kind of event where you can have fun with underperforming decks.
As for the deck, there’s not much to say. Chamber is mainly used to search for Tidying as an interruption. The Bystials act as interruptions themselves, depending on your opponent’s deck, but they struggle against Tenpai (which makes up 90% of the event's decks...). On the plus side, they also serve as materials for Sheou.
Runick cards are Runick cards, they're just generally good generic cards.
Replays
I saved one replay of a duel that I actually lost (I misplayed a lot and lost on time) but that I find interesting to watch to see what the deck can potentially make. ID: 852-343-561
