Notes & Combos
Probably the most fun I've ever had playing Tear, even including at full power. Cartesia is extremely underrated and helps with extending especially without the option to pass on baronne. It also helps with playing around imperm on Kitkat. Fusion deployment is another MVP and its biggest drawback doesn't matter, with all 3 targets being great. Resolving branded fusion is admittedly more difficult without verte but getting access to mirrorjade, albion and rindbrumm adds significant disruption.
Tips:
- Try and get cartesia out whenever possible (i.e. activating fusion deployment first if access to a tear starter is present), it can protect kitkat from an imperm or veiler and threaten a fusion on top of regular tear plays
- Don't fuse into lubellion using tear GY effects if it means spinning Albaz back (I did this and almost cost a win)
- Cryme becomes a lot more viable in this deck as cartesia can recycle herself back to hand
- Albion the Sanctifire can revive albaz to your side and a tear monster (ideally Kitkat) to the opponent's side, allowing you to get mirrorjade/lubellion -> mirrorjade + another fusion summon or mill 5
