Notes & Combos
Pretty short climb this Cup, 44 games from DL12 to DL20 with a 72.73% winrate and 47.73% coinflip winrate. This deck can definitely go second (it's called handtrap control). Winrate after the coin landed was 66.67%, with 78.26% for tails.
Cards that honestly don't come up as much
- Reframing, although it is a good inclusion to have nonetheless.
- Dharc, don't think I've summoned Dharc to good effect in the climb. Probably should be replaced with I:P Masquerena
- Accesscode, Astraloud is your OTK machine, and you will also as just have large Synchro bodies. Really no use for Accesscode.
- Underworld Goddess, in the case of a Towers, should be kept in.
Cards that probably should have been used more or played instead
- Chengying/Chaos Angel, just good Synchro 10 options. I personally just like Gymir Aegirine more than those two for her protection (and her).
- ASSD, having base Stardust would have been nice, but just the fact that I can bluff it with ASSD is also good enough.
- I:P, as mentioned earlier.
- Reichphobia, the second copy has been something I feel would certainly cleanly close out games in a few scenarios, but is largely unneeded.
- Twinfang, in a similar sense, but more for when I need to plan B upon getting Maxx C'd. If I would play it, I'd replace Reframing.
- Amritara, KONAMI PLEASE. Imagine giving Torrid but not Trisukta or Amritara.
