Notes & Combos

This was an absolute stress nightmare. Your worse nightmare here is Maxx "C" as the deck typically ends on only 1 or 2 negates if you don't draw into interruptions.

Kaiser came in to save the day more than a few times during this climb just because if you're able to summon out a big enough monster, your opponent has a difficult time outing it or at least they end up giving up their battle phase.

Typical Marincess combos. You want to see Blue Tang in your opening hand, if you don't you can still make something happen with any name provided you don't get negated on the Sea Angel.

If you can ONLY get out a big monster + Kaiser

  • Summon any name
  • Link into Sea angel and search dive
  • Dive summon back your name (Bonus if they have an effect that's applicable)
  • Link 2 into Splash mage
  • Splash mage, summon back your name
  • Link both away into Anemone
  • Anemone, summon back splash mage
  • Link both into a rank 4 (Be wary of Bubble Reef's mandatory effect if you're worried about tactics)

Depending on the card you open, you CAN do this and still get Triangle for the wave search but it really depends on if you can get another summon off of whatever name you opened or not.

All in all, Marincess can still compete. This deck has about 20 cards that are designed solely to stop your opponent from playing the game, and you only need to open 1 with only a handfull of them being preferred.
