Notes & Combos
Preamble
I played Mystic Mine At Home (AKA "Cauldron Burn w/ Fire Prison") to Lv14 and decided I wanted a more proactive gameplan, so I switched to a more classic Stun list. There's plenty of overlap between the two, so it was easy to pick up.
I wanted to play a Stun list with both Morganite and a Dogmatika package, so I compared some lists and picked whatever I liked and went with that.
Card option notes
- Specific Golgonda targets are flexible: 3x Titaniklad is "optimal" but I won't blame you for only having and using one.
- Punishment targets are the standard fare, but that being said:
- Omega was a terrible pick in hindsight: I resolved it a grand total of 0 times due to Necrovalley or Bystials
- Luluwalilith is suboptimal but I pulled a Royal Finish and wanted to use her: second Bucephalus, third Malong or N'tss, Mereologic Aggregator or a fuckoff huge ATK target would be better
- 1x Necrovalley / 1x Commandant felt better than 2x Necrovalley / 1x Commandant
- Raigeki and TTT were Lv19 adjustments: they were the second Herald and the third Golgonda beforehand
- Clockwork Night and Moon Mirror Shield to give both tall and wide buffs: Clockwork Night in particular helps push damage for game effectively
- Inclusion of Clockwork Knight automatically means no TCBOO commonly found in other lists: I would've appreciated it in some matchups going second, but going first finding any of the SS blockers sufficed
- Additional benefit of Clockwork Knight is that suddenly every Kashtira monster is suddenly vulnerable to Punishment's 2500 targets, including N'tss
- 8-10 Normal Summons worked out best for me with Morganite: if I had to drop monsters, I'd drop the third Ecclesia first
- Torrents over Jowgen since Jowgen gets ran over much more often without 3x MMS: the WATER bypass only ever mattered once, when I got Gameciel'd on it
- No Boarder: my opponent shouldn't have any bordered cards if I go first and probably has too many for it to matter going second
- Same reason why I'm not running Solemn Warning or Solemn Strike
- Crackdown wasn't too impactful (partly because I only run the one), but it did come up in the Kashtira matchups a couple of times, whenever I had a blocker up and they played Birth
- I'm tempted to try out Thunder King Rai-Oh, but wouldn't know where to start cutting: maybe Ecclesia and Nadir Servant?
