Centur-Ion

60 cards

Notes & Combos

Ideal endboard with Astellar full combo:

  • Blazar (omni-negate/cancel out Battle Phase/negate summon. Its negate makes room in MMZ for Albion's effect, or for backrow Centur-Ion to come forth)
  • Spright Elf (target protect + reborn Astellar/Elzette)
  • Photon Lord (monster negate + add Kuriphoton to avoid FTKs/OTKs)
  • Scourge of the White Forest (quick-play negate face-up card, helped most vs power spells and continuous cards)
  • Albion Sanctifire (reborn anything, with primary targets being Fairy Tail Snow, Silvera, Centur-Ion Synchros, Chaos Angel, or any missing material for a Stand-Up quick-Synchro. Can also disrupt their GY occasionally)
  • Auxila place a Centur-Ion.
    • If Primera, can protect Auxila from destruction effects. When she summons herself, you can return Elzette to hand. Spright Elf or Albion can summon any Lv2 to make Silvera with Primera+Lv2.
    • If Trudea/Gargoyle, you can use them as a DARK Lv8 with Astellar or Elzette to make Chaos Angel with both its "buffs" during their turn.
  • Fairy Tail Snow in GY after making Albion.
  • Beatrice can send The Black Goat Laughs in certain hands and sequences for further disruption within the GY.

I modified the list a few times throughout my run. At first I played Luluwalilith and Silhouhatte, both of which I replaced with Beatrice and Verte respectively (though Verte was a tail-end addition around DLv18-19).

I found out that Astellar is a 1 card combo (provided you have a spell of course) into both Horus and Centur-Ion engines thanks to Beatrice being a Card™. There will be a video in the replays section showcasing the synergy between engines.

Naturally it's very likely you will already open 2-3 of the 3 total engines in the deck, in which case your Beatrice can sometimes remain on field to send something like The Black Goat Laughs to GY on their turn, after your turn 1 send was Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge can sometimes get you Secret Village of the Spellcasters, too, which can stop glue-eating Tenpai players from clicking every board breaker in their hand and stealing undeserved games off you :). The cool part about sacrificing Stand-Up for it is that your turn 1 already ends on the things you would quick-Synchro into in normal Centur-Ion builds. If you combo correctly, all you're losing for quick-Synchro is Chaos Angel, Silvera, or Legatia-- all of which you will likely be fine without, which makes the removal of Stand-Up a non-issue in most cases.
