Notes & Combos

"You are as beautiful as the day I lost you"

World Chalice is my all-time favorite deck and was one of my first decks alongside Majespecter. I love World Legacy lore and have played it since it was first released when Firewall Dragon was still a bonker. Saryuja Soul Charge into Gameciel Kristya was very strong back then.

As for nowadays, where more hand traps are available, backup plans and combo protection are much needed. Spright and Adventurer engines can help for both.

Spright can be your mitigation should your combo be interrupted or just plain extender. After you make Gryphon, you can go into Gigantic and extend to Elf, Lib, and Masquerena.

Adventurer is, well, Adventurer. You can have Gryphon protection before committing to your combo. But it can also be used as an extender, as a single Aramesir can produce 2 bodies. Enchantress is level 3, which is nice as material for Justiciar.

Ringowurm is amazing. it is level 2, so it can be used for Spright, and it is a tuner, so you can use it as synchro material with Enchantress. It gives a token to extend as well.

Rover is a fun tech. It transforms your E-Tele into a 1/3 board breaking chance. It has 2/3 chance to revive itself when it is sent to the GY, which is nice for Spright negation cost or just for your Lee fodder.

The main gameplan is to go into Justiciar, resolve World Legacy - World Chalice grave effect, and draw from Ningirsu (usually 2 cards). The usual endboards are Spright Elf, Knightmare Gryphon, Lib, and Masquerena, with set Sorrow.

In the first few matches, I still screwed up the combo, and the climb wasn't exactly easy as well, but I'm glad that we made it safely in the end.
