Notes & Combos
Ishizu stuff doesn't come up unless you draw into it turn 1, deck has plenty of ways to discard them and the free level 4 on field if you draw Mudora/Keldo is halfway to a free King of the Feral Imps. It's perfect synergy in the deck though since you really really want stuff in the grave and snake rain's not always there.
You can easily cut Phoenix, IP, Avra and Goddess from the ED as they never came up for me once, Linguribo's there in case of iblee lock while also giving a free trap negate. Preferably run triple echidna but she's a UR and I only pulled one.
General combo is just press yes to whatever's in your opening hand, if you have ishizu cards use them first to bait ash/mill. Only real thought comes from if you have Coatl+Nauya in hand and have to decide whether you'd rather search spell + feral imp or mill keurse with nauya. Basically if you have another normal summon or a way to get nunu in the grave then milling with nauya is almost always a better play.
Combo line depends heavily on what's in your opening hand but for the most part it's;
- Activate everything until you have Nunu + Keurse + Nauya in gy
- If you have any monster on field tribute it to summon Keurse, otherwise use Nunu eff to summon himself then tribute him (don't worry about them getting to summon, the negate is forever and if they summon a handtrap turn 1 then it turns off lightning storm/evenly matched)
- Keurse summon Nauya, search water lily if you don't have it, if you do then search serpent strike if you've got an ishizu or big ogdo stuck in hand, otherwise search the field spell.
There's a few branching paths from this point with the biggest question being what you summon with water lily, usually going first it's better to summon King and Queen since that gives you Overlord anyway, sending night sword to make another feral imp and keep Nauya from going to gy is usually a good play as well, sometimes you just want to make Melusine on her own to play around lava golem.
Basically just experiment for a bit until you know what you can do with your hand then play around whatever knowledge the ishizu cards give you, making Melusine with a Nyami in hand after milling numeron wall is a very good feeling.
Most importantly, the deck is very fun and suprisingly good against a lot of decks right now, it plays into sprights very well and can break branded boards fairly easily, runick can be trouble it just depends whether you get to the ishizu cards or not.
