**** THE MAXX C MINIGAME, WE BALL
I have in fact read misc, thank you for asking
Outside of Labrynth (which I don't really feel like playing the mirror for), none of my decks can both play through enough hand traps and keep up with the grind game of Snake-Eye. As it turns out, you don't have to play the hand trap minigame if you just kill them instead. 13 boardbreakers gives you the ability to punch pretty much anything really hard, OTKing them on a good day (your only option if they roach you) or just clearing their entire board whilst setting one up of your own (albeit much smaller than your usual dino brews).
Matchups
You might think the Labrynth matchup seems iffy, but a large majority of players will play into thrust and then use their traps incorrectly. If they get Lady on field, you even have the option of chainblocking it with misc.
Ultimate Conductor Tyranno serves as a check to Flamberge specifically. Lost World will make Promethean Princess worse than useless, so the only thing you really need to fear is a late Ash Blossom if you're playing under the omnipresent roach (it may be worth making Dolkka over Laggia, even if they have unknown backrow).
Infernoble might be a genuine threat, but for some reason I haven't been running into any. Tear as well, albeit they're much less consistently threatening, especially under Lost World.
Macro Cosmos / Dimension Shifter / Zone Lock Turbo, the most boring archetype of the past 2 years, may seem like a bad matchup, but in classic Kashtira fashion, you just need to draw the out. They WILL play into Thrust or Tactics, at which point their entire board crumbles.
Tech
Losing Ground Xeno may seem like it sucks, and it definitely does for a going first build. It's a great extender and not having it may lose you games, but the suite of nonengine I've thrown in just feels better against the current metagame to me.
PLEASE run Bucephalus instead of Ferrijit as your Ultimate Slayer target if you have it. Ferrijit isn't a DIRECT downgrade (it lets you shuffle garnets back), but a free draw is a free draw.
