Notes & Combos

Taking inspiration from Joshua Schmidt's decklist, I wanted to try Snake-Eyes Sky Striker. The decklist includes Ash and Maxx "C", opposed on what he built with no HT.

When I started I didn't really know how to play Snake Eyes, and I ended up learning while ranking in the DC.

The linear and main combo with a Snake Eye Ash in hand is the following:

  1. NS Ash, search Poplar
  2. Summon Poplar, search Temple (the field spell)
  3. Activate Temple, place Flamberge (plays around Nibiu)
  4. Link off Poplar for Linkuriboh and place poplar in S/T
  5. Activate Ash sending Poplar and summon Oak
  6. Activate Oak and summon either of the 2 in GY
  7. Activate Oak sending Linkuriboh and summon Flamberge
  8. Link off for I:P Masquerena and summon 2 Lv. 1 with Flamberge
  9. Link into Princess and summon Flamberge
  10. Place I:P with Flamberge
  11. Link off Princess and a Lv. 1 for Amblowhale

On opponent's turn you'll have:

  • I:P summoned from either Flamberge or Temple (32k Apollousa, Phoenix or Unicorn)
  • Pop with Princess
  • Recursion with Flamberge, Oak, Poplar and Ash
  • With Amblowhale, a Link-3 or lower summon (when destroyed) and pop (when in GY)

For the Sky Striker package you can:

  1. Search Drones with Engage
  2. Summon Kagari with Drones and retrieve it
  3. Link off Kagari for Kaina and activate Drones
  4. Link off the token for Linkuriboh
  5. Link off Linkuriboh for Secure Gardna (you'll be protected against a Veiler or an Imperma on a Lv. 1)
  6. Also the token is DARK, so you can link for Dharc or Hiita (with Kagari) if needed.

My tech choises where Subversion, which is a fenomenal piece of removal and Forbidden Droplet since you can send a lot of things to the GY without any bad side effects (also it can dodge Veiler and Imperma)

Final words: the deck is good both going first and second and it's not any better or worse than the other S.E. versions currently available, but the Sky Striker and going second spells can come more in handy if you happen to lose the coin more often (talking about me). Also Poplar bad, I had that card in hand more ofter than any other one.

This time I managed to save my replays before Master Duel had the chance to nuke them. I wanted to include different decklists instead of them being all Vs Snake Eyes.
