Notes & Combos

I have been playing this version of T.G. Snake-eyes during the DC Cup and reached Dl Max just with it.

60 cards seems a lot but this deck has so many redundancy on how you get your starter (any way to start with normal/special summon snake-eyes Ash) that usually will give you opportunity to play other board breakers just in case you go second or need to stop your turn because of MaxxC.

Even in this meta I think It's important to have Dark Ruler no More (in this deck) because We are playing a creature combo deck and going second will be very hard to break any board just forcing negates. Sure you can try to make their turn 1 worst with hand traps but if you can't you won't break a board with so many interactions.

Usually you will see regular lists of TGs going for the draw combo and making Crimson Dragon during opponent's turn to lock them with Calamity or Blazar.

Instead of waiting for opponent's turn to make Crimson I prefer to make it during my own turn and Calamity them during their draw step instead of main phase. My end board plan is to have (during my turn):

Crimson Dragon + Glaive + Baronne + Shooting Star Dragon T.G.EX + 2 lv 5 tgs to synchro during their turn.

With this board you will have Calamity during their draw phase protected with Baronne. You will have attack protection from Shooting star dragon just in case they try to attack your lv5s with Diabellstar/Kashtira before they set spell/traps and you will have enough material to make Satellite Warrior after their set their spell/trap/monsters (total of 5 destructions).

I prefert to play this way for two reasons. One is because you are already making the combo and sometimes just going for Calamity is not enough vs trap decks like Labrynth. Two is because in this play line you are going to make Baronne before you start playing TG and/or if they Nib you will have enough material to keep playing the combo.

Other thing is that even for the regular draw combo people are still playing Blade Blaster instead of Shooting Star. I prefer Shooting Star because you are doing everything during your own turn. With Blade Blaster you are wasting one activation + revive effect from Glaive during opponent's turn! You can save It to have another negation with Blazar or even reseting/stealing opp's ED monsters.
