If you've heard of Crystal Beasts, you've probably heard of Conclave Control. Despite its name, Conclave Control is a midrange Deck, meaning it has solid disruption tools to control the game until it finds the right opportunity to OTK. Conclave Control's general gameplan revolves around Crystal Beasts' unique crystallization mechanic to generate resources over time. It survives through defensive options in Crystal Conclave, Miracle, Necrovalley, and R4nk Xyz. The "heart" of the deck lies in Rainbow Bridge of the Heart, which trades Crystal Beast monsters for powerful Spells & Traps. The Crystal Beasts meanwhile get repurposed as crystals, and, when the time is right through the Awakening of the Crystal Ultimates, Ruby calls together a conclave to deliver the final blow.

This particular Crystal Beast build is designed to beat the current best deck; Tearlament has the strongest engine in the game, so setting up a floodgate is mandatory in order to compete. Dimensional Shifter, Abyss Dweller, Necrovalley, and Zombie World are some of the best options that are good for going first and going second.

Dimensional Shifter conflicts with Maxx "C" and Foolish Burial Goods, so make sure to save those cards until the Shifter's no longer active. Abyss Dweller is easy enough to make since Sapphire Pegasus is a 1-card r4nk. Going second use Dweller's effect to prevent all GY effects, attack with it, and overlay into Zeus to successfully clear the field. Necrovalley and Zombie World are the Field Spell targets for Rainbow Bridge of Salvation. While either of these are active, make sure to save Crystal Miracle to negate either the Tearlaments Heartbeat or the Primeval Planet Perlereino. If Perlereino is already active, be wary of bouncing the Tearlament Fusion monsters with Heart or Conclave, as it will trigger Perlereino's effect to destroy your Field Spell. Instead take advantage of Zenith, R4nks, or Super Poly to clear those Tearlament Fusions.

Conclave Control can get tricky to manage, but with enough mastery, anyone can make their Crystal Beasts become Crystal Based.
