Notes & Combos

No replays, sorry

Also this is quite long so feel free to skip

Decided to change playstyle for the first time and added 3 upstart goblins. This is because even with 2 desires striker did not have enough spells in the gy (mainly due to ariseheart) and I needed a way to get enough cards. So I had to give up attempting fast kills or building massive advantages via kagari-engage combo, instead I had to focus on completely destroying the opponent board&hand to make it to turn 4. This also means instead of depleting LP you are going to get a surrender from your opponent. Surprisingly this worked well (considering I had to give up my 3 imperms) and I managed to reach dlv MAX in like 25 hours!! yay!!

Stats and some opinions

Total: 34 Wins 23 Losses

Kashtria: 10W 5L

  • Normal Kash: 9W 3L
  • Blind Second Kash: 1W 1L
  • Auroradon Kash: 1L Definitely the most prominent deck right now, also probably the most easiest tier deck Striker can handle lmao just throw board breakers at em

Labrynth: 2W 5L

  • Normal Labrynth: 2W 4L
  • Cyberse Labrynth(???): 1L This is because board breakers are pretty weak for Labrynth, and you don't even stand a chance without board breakers. Idk how to handle Lab yet

Purrely:1W 3L

  • Normal Purrely: 1W 2L
  • Ghostrick Purrely: 1L Pretty difficult matchup since you always need abyss herald to win the game. Except that, I'm surprised how few Purrelys I encountered during the grind.

Dragon Link: 2W

Very lucky considering how Strikers are bad at handling negates.

Tearlaments: 2W 1L

  • Punk Tearlaments: 2W
  • Labrynth Punk Tearlaments(???): 1L Why are all labrynth decks so deranged... Fortunately the existence of Tear Kash did not make the deck stronger thank god

Mikanko - 4L

Mikanko perfectly counters Strikers unfortunately, do not expect to win against Mikanko on a serious match.

Scareclaw - 1W 1L

  • Normal Scareclaw: 1L
  • Blind second Scareclaw: 1W It's a fun deck to play, a fun deck to play against. Also Scareclaw is insanely good at recovering boards so it's a hard matchup.

Spright - 2W

  • Gishki Spright: 1W
  • Evil Twin Spright: 1W Thank god no Melffy/Tri-Brigade Spright, the limit on Nimble Beaver worked so well

Stun - 3W

  • Barrier Statue: 2W
  • Boarder: 1W It's an easy match when your hand has like, three board breakers and an afterburner lmao

Mathmech: 1W 1L

A difficult opponent but I'm getting the hang of this

Other insignificant matchups Traptrix 2W, Hero 1W 1L, Floo 1W, Vaylantz 1W 1L, etc

Was fun speedrunning the thing, you shpuld do it too :)
