Notes & Combos
15-5 last 20 games in the cup. Longest streak of 5. Changed the deck slightly in DLV 19 but other than that, it remained more or less the same. Think the only reason change was ED lineup. I had I:P and 2 Zeus before and changed it up for Epurrely Plump and Downerd.
Paleo with some normal trap floodgates. ****
Tech options:
- D-Barrier, DDG, and Simul Archfiends: Lingering floodgates are just too good with rollback. D-Barrier good for Tear, Kash, VV, okay against Yubel (no fusion), but pretty worthless against SE/FK. DDG good against Tear, VV, Yubel, SE/FK, worthless against Kash. Archfiends is pretty good against SE/FK, Yubel, Kash, Tear, kinda worthless against VV. Using all 3 covers weakpoints well.
- Magical Hats: This is my favorite guilty pleasure. It fits in the theme of the deck which is to stall until you outgrind. What it does besides that is search out both Rollback + Ele Burst at the same time.
- Fairy Tail - Snow & Zeroboros: One of your game-enders. Snow banishes all the cards you dump off Grass or Reasoning, link climb into Zeroboros and end the game. If you can't, then any paleo or snow summon can trigger Zeroboros field banish effect on opponent's turn.
- Ipiria: I did try out other Lvl 2's like Soldier Dragons + Laundry Dragonmaid, or Frog stuff, even Ghoti + Water Dragon Ruler, but I think this was simple enough. I like it with Spright package, and it's funny with flip effects like Magical Hats or Karma Cannon since it draws on "Summoned", meaning flip summons also count. Redirecting the only attack with Rise to Full Height when you have Elf is also funny.
- Lady Labrynth: I'm a Lab main at heart. If I can run one Lab card, I think this one is great. It's hilarious when this gets suprise summoned off Reasoning when they expect a Lvl 2. Minor conflict with Morganite when it's in hand, but it being a 1-off in a 60 card means it doesn't come up much.
