Notes & Combos

I actually played an aggressive Labrynth build all the way through DLv. 19 but stalled out and wasn't satisfied with what I was able to put together going up against a lot of the current meta and I wasn't playing well enough for the perfectly timed execution of disruption Lab needs to be wholly succesful. After a bit of testing, I switched over to Purrely. Only played about 7-8 matches with this build total to get to DLv. MAX.

A version of this deck I was running in the ladder last season intermittenly but didn't have enough time to try to grind out of diamond.

My ideal opener here is playing Diviner, as it usually is good bait for ash or imperm, and also acts as an additional starter to out one of the cats, then you can play the rest of the combo pretty uninteruppted. Diviner also opens a path to getting a very easy Chaos Angel out with monster effect protection through Trias which has come in handy on more than one occasion.

I was originally trying this build with a ghosttrick combo to play into Utopic Draco Future but it doesn't come up often enough I think to take the place of other hand traps.

The build over-all was going for a large variety of HTs to allow as many additional disruptions as possible on the opponent's turn, to help cover the several decks that easily play around disruptions in the current meta.

Droll was a late addition after I got decked out against tear.

Nibiru and Sylvan I never used, and lightning storm, which I had at 2 at one point, only was so-so in the occasional times it came up.

Some unexplored areas would be potential other syncros you can get into from Diviner for some additional variety in what the deck can be doing. There were also a few duels where I would have benefited from TY-PHON, but never got around to testing that out.
