Notes & Combos

Centur-Ion + Bystial + Resonator engines give a lot of good openings to play around hand-traps and negates. The 3 archetypes have great synergy. Good extension + good interaction with opponent's board/grave. Definitely the best way to play Resonators in 2024. It's also super fun!

Disclaimer: This is definitely not the most optimal decklist but it did the trick for me. Will be refining as time passes.

Main Deck:

  • Run 3 Lubellion, I only had enough UR dust for 2 lol. Can remove Phalanx, Red Reign (replace Flame Crime with Wildwind), Skull Meister, or Baldrake.

  • 1 Soul is enough. It's the easiest resonator to search for.

  • 2-3 Void Apoc is good. Way to dump Bone if Soul negated, Vision for Gaia, or Uvualoop to extend.

  • 3x Evenly is replaceable by handtraps but I once again do not have enough UR dust lol.

  • Can replace Red Reign with Black Goat Laughs. Flame Crime and Red Reign are replaceable by Wildwind.

  • Skull Meister search is rare but can be clutch. Good play under Maxx C if you can also set up Primera + Trudea + Stand Up for Legatia next turn.

  • Chain Resonator is often win-more but can sometimes function as a way to extend into Resonator engine.

  • Phalanx is optional with Gargoyle, though the search for it does come up often. If running Wake-Up, then Phalanx is really good in grave or field (I'm Gargoyle-pilled though).

  • Fiendish Golem would be good if not for Yubel.

Extra Deck:

  • Can run 2 RDA if you want

  • Can run Trishula with Crimson Dragon if you want

  • Baronne, Legatia, Chaos Angel, and Pixie are optional but all have come up in many more use-cases for me than alternatives. 2nd RDA has only come up once for me.

  • Bane is so unnecessary imo. Just go into Auxila via Dis Pater. Easy to get on field with Regained or Uvualoop + Red Zone.

Replays

I have no replays but ckw and Archimo have good replays and videos respectively. See their stuff for some combos and other (likely better) decklists.
