Notes & Combos

Inspired by some of the other lists I've seen. Not the optimal way to build this deck lol. It's definitely better to run a 40-50 card version than to run a 60 card grass pile version. I just love running pile decks. This deck can cook although it definitely has a hard time playing against some of the more prominent decks this meta like Snake Eye Fire King, Stun, or Yubel Iblee lock.

• Main Deck : Grass isn't necessary I just use it to get cards like lubellion, snow, and the synchrons in the graveyard. If unluckly though grass can also send your combo pieces to the grave. You can always just discard grass with the field spell if you want. Bystials are very good this format, being good against tearlament, yubel, voiceless, and so many others. Main goal of this deck is to do the regular centurion combo and then use the synchrons and bystials to extend further, bringing out monsters such as shooting majestic star dragon and cosmic blazar dragon turn 1, while still being able to go into level 10 and 12 synchrons on your opponents turn.
• Handtraps and Staples: Opted to play lots of handtraps even though many grass decks choose not too. Due to the amount of players shotgunning maxx c or shifter in the draw phase, gamma is a must play, being able to negate those cards as well as protect cards like tuning, grass, and bonfire from ash. Plus gamma and driver can make accel synchro stardust dragon which can then revive gamma to make baronne. Ash is necessary to negate maxx c plus its a tuner. Veiler is a negate, a tuner, and a light monster you can banish to summon a bystial. Called by and crossout are both needed as maxx c negates. Imperm is always good. This deck struggles going second into established boards so evenly is there to help with that.
• Extra Deck: Only reason I ran shenshen and PEP in the extra deck is because I think they're cool but they're more "win more" cards and not necessities. Legatia also hardly came up. Accel Synchron is cool because it can send jet synchron to the grave, which can then be reborn to make shenshen with lubellion and you can synchro away the now level 4 or 6 accel synchron to make a level 10 or 12 depending what you have on board. You can also save it to synchro on your opponents turn.
