Notes & Combos
Clearly inspired by Jesse's list, but I packed Yubel by accident while getting Centur-ion cards. I got to Rank 19 before falling back with Centur-ion, so I wanted a change of pace. I didn't want to play a standard list, so I messed around until I got this. Honestly, Tear and Yubel are probably better separate, but this was a lot of fun to play. An issue is that there is a pretty decent amount of anti-synergy between specifically left arm offering and the trap cards. The plus side is that Shavara popping Trivikarma or Rainbow Bridge is so satisfying. Rainbow bridge does a very good job at bridging the decks together. It is kind of cool how the Tear engine gets into Yubel and Yubel gets into Tear sometimes that way.
Some notes: Extradeck is really tight. I used all 15 cards, but second S:P came up the least. I wish this deck was better at making Curious to dump Snow, but getting 3 different types is not easy.
I really hate Maxx C, so I tried going to phantom if I can before they drop it. If you get Maxx Ced with Grass, just yolo it. You can probably make a decent board with only a couple summons. This deck has no hand traps, so you have to do something.
You can sometimes play into nib with Tearlaments because they float anyway. Eventually you will get into Phantom.
Droplet never came up for me. I would probably change 1 of them at least to a Dark Ruler/Tactics as a Thrust option.
I tried a bystial package. Was not worth it. It was definitely win more when it worked and dead when it didn't.
Nightmare pain could probably be at 2, but I had it often enough.
Starting with one for one sucks, because it loses to every hand trap, but it is a good extender. Could be cut.
This deck also kind of runs into the problem than Dark beckoning beast and Reinoheart really want your normal summon. Both can be right answers depending on the hand.
Cards to consider: ROTA, Card Destruction, Supreme Sea Mare, Talents, Dark Ruler.
