Notes & Combos

Got the Sapphire + Aquamarine idea from this list by TheStone4. Definitely helps to have an extra Type on hand for Curious and for the most part you don't really have much of a downside outside of specifically anti-sinergy with Researcher, wich is honestly not that big of a deal.

Do prefer going 2-1 over 3-1 for the vanillas tho, running 4 just seemed overkill and i pretty much never had it come up where i needed an extra one. Could also run Garnet or Tourmaline + one of their fusions over Sapphire because even if the bounce from Aquamarine is prolly the most useful fusion effect i've not had it come up even once, meanwhile the simple fact Garnet & Tourmaline have a better ATK stat would have almost mattered in exactly a single game i've played so far :^).

Only card i was really missing in the main deck is Ash. Pretty much always having to play into full combo if you lose the coin toss and having less answers to the dreadful bug isn't great. Was thinking about cutting Reasoning or eXceed for it but more gas = more funny.

For the ED i think running both Instant Fusion targets is much better than just one. The Predaplant fusion getting you to Brilliant is obviously great but getting extra handtrap protection from Millennium-Eyes if you already have another way to get to Brilliant isn't too shabby either, especially with a lot of ppl only being on Ash & bug.

On a side note, while Quartz is a fantastic card and enables Brilliant to be a 1 card FTK if Researcher doesn't whiff all the other new support from Strong Will isn't worth it atm imo. Scatter Fusion isn't horrible if you play a Black Garden focused list but that in itself tends to be more bricky and Rose Diamond is only good for dumping a fairy but even with Ishizu's that seems infinitely worse than the normal line especially with the card itself being absolutely horrible. The Lvl.2 WATER Lizard also doesn't seem worth it for just the 2x NS if you can't get it's revival effect, at least in a list like this.
