Notes & Combos
First of all, this deck is awful and I definitely tanked my event elo in the process of experimenting with ratios which definitely helped with getting a streak by pairing me with some not-so-skilled opponents. Second of all, I think this deck is very funny. And it can still occasionally steal wins off competent strategies thanks to operating almost entirely outside of the monster axis (and having Sky Striker spells for board breaking).
---
The main gimmick of this deck is the Reversal Quiz FTK, except I'm aiming to blind second, so Reversal Quiz OTK? Either way, the aim is to lower your LP down low enough that calling Reversal Quiz correctly (easy since we can dig to 1 card remaining to know by process of elimination) brings your opponent's LP low enough that 1 or 2 set Fuhma Shuriken kills them after they're sent to the GY by Reversal Quiz.
The usual approach involves going first and drawing with Royal Magical Library, which is stronger draw power than Sky Striker, but I dislike how the strategy lives or dies by Library being found early-ish and going un-negated. Plus I like blinding second and originally picked up this strategy as a way to get around Yubel's combat tricks by OTKing with burn instead.
By blinding second, I get an extra starting draw which is nice, and boards this event often aren't too scary that sometimes interactions can be dealt with by Striker spells without a major hit to draw power. Just as importantly, the opponent having monsters allows for the possibility of crashing mine (or theirs stolen with Widow Anchor) to further reduce my LP and/or float Cursed Bamboo Sword into a different one (same with Afterburners). Likewise we get access to Slash Draw when the opponent has a board, which is a neat way of recycling more good draw spells with less discards than Magical Stone Excavation, or alternatively a way of milling the final few cards of the deck and putting back only what we want.
Notably, I'm not running some of the usual draw suspects like Dark World Dealings or Contract with Don Thousand because I kept giving my opponent an Ash Blossom in the process. They're fine and a solid alternative to the Spellbook package to make the deck completely insulated from monster negates by having no monster effects. I prefer Spellbooks because I don't always have to normal summon Magician, if over the process of drawing I draw into two pieces of the package, I can cycle them in-hand and he gives me some more Bamboo Sword flexibility as an extra temporary body on field.
Cosmic Cyclone was a late replacement to Don Thousand. There's other possibilities like Herald of the Abyss, which I quite liked since it doubles as removal and makes your LP more likely to be in the range of needing only 1 Shuriken. The issue is it turns off the ability to OTK at all until the opponent summons a monster (Chicken Game+copies is only -6000, and can't crash if there's nothing to crash into). All the good flexible LP paying spells like Star Blast or Psychic Blade are banned but I may have overlooked something.
Replays
Here's a couple of wins I could still manage to record after procrastinating:

The opponent's decks weren't very good but that should be telling about what kind of MMR I had to reach for a streak n_n;; Also, some of them are from before I swapped Don Thousand for Cosmic Cyclone.
- 0:00 a vanilla match played without any combat tricks. Played out over two of my turns since Spellbook Magician got interrupted and was stuck on my field. No there's no reason I juggled the two Cursed Bamboo Swords. I wanted to see if I could bait Imperm, but that would be silly if it did.
- I wasn't BMing draws after drawing the OTK pieces. I still hadn't drawn Anchamoufrite so I could have mis-called Reversal Quiz. Anyways, this replay shows being able to stack the remainder of the deck with only spells using Slash Draw.
- 2:05 A truer OTK since I won on turn 2. Involves multiple crashes to get into lethal range and is a demo of a win with only mediocre draw power.
- 3:49 I just think the opponent's Meluseek control is funny. Involves crashing the opponent's monster for an extra Golden Bamboo Sword search.
