The event felt miserable because of the number of Visas/Snake-Eyes/Branded piles around, and how sacky highlander format inherently is, but this deck still managed to get a winstreak relatively fast.
I opted for a Melffy package and some extenders instead of a LiveTwin variant. The endboard may vary but the aim is usually Elf, Forest, Wally (or both Cat and Pony if you drew one of them) and IP. You can also have Sprind if you had the option to make the nimble play after gigantic, whatever you searched with Jet or Red/Carrot. No Puppy as the deck felt a bit bricky already and I didn't want to add another brick in Kalantosa.
Not having access to a full-powered beckoning beast engine is rough and means the continuous spell is the card you want to draw instead, as it makes Sprind with a discard and al'miraj in the extra. Capshell was a 0/0 fiend for the additional normal.
Meowmine is cool in theory but I never drew it in a winnable game. The Bystials are for Tear and also help for quick synchro or link plays.
The extra is quite tight even in this format, usually the synchro to go for is Melffys but Herald comes up as well. Locust is good for an additional quick synchro with leftover 2s on the field in order to make Omega. You can also make Omega with Hop Ear + a Bystial.
