with a heavy heart i must finally admit that this may be the last time i will ever see world crown in my deck. i think it is finally time to move on from the one world legacy artifact that is directly linked to crusadia. this is the result of komoney's unfettered powercreep. i hope something changes in the future, but this card no longer provides enough value in a world where i must play 16 handtraps

So yes, -1 World Crown and +1 Veiler. I mentioned last month that I have been playing a larger WL package than truly necessary, and it's time to let World Crown go. Not a starter, and purely a very conditional extender that doesn't even immediately grant Lib access. The value just isn't there, and probably hasn't been there for a while now. I wanted to keep it for aesthetic reasons, but saving time during the ranked climb is ultimately more important to me.

Not actually on 16 HTs due to space constraints, but Veiler to 3x is pretty much a no-brainer. Doesn't stop Snake-Eyes as effectively as before due to Bonfire, but can't do much if they open cracked anyway. Veiler/Imperm are so important right now, I would play 3x Ghost Mourner as well if I could.

With the new meta support, boards are even greedier/highroll-y and buildup play is more resilient. I can't find any other tools with which to counter this powercreep beyond just stacking HTs, so that's all I continue to do for now. Might experiment with going first again since Komoney clearly have no intention of balancing for going 2nd. But yeah—if there's nothing fresh here, it's because I simply can't find anything else to use while keeping WL as my wincon/theme. I stand by my preference for HTs over board breakers at the moment.

Nothing else to add, pretty straightforward stuff. Open to suggestions on how best to evolve the deck moving forward! Even more OP meta support is on its way, so I'm definitely starting to second-guess blind 2nd as a strategy. At the same time, I can't imagine setting up WL Secret going 1st to be sufficient in this economy. I will have to play S:P Little Knight when she's out since I straight up cannot find anything else to use; beyond that, I have no clue what I will do from here lmao.
