Notes & Combos
I wrote a lot of things in last season notes that might be useful.
As for this season, it was rough, almost everyone is making new acc to play SE Kashtira or SE R-ace.
Didn't have much success against R-ace cuz I think Harpie is needed, when I did win it was due to:
- Having 2 interruptions turn 1, 1st for NM summon, 2nd for Turbulence. (Key is to play on OFF cuz they can protect it)
- When they summon on my Turn 1, instead of going into 10 star I just add emergence into Protos and lock Fire.
- Tip: When they play second, be careful what you use to interrupt cuz a lot of their cards have effects "When On-Field monster activates Effect..."
As for Snake eyes, your win Conditions are:
- Going 2nd Hand Trap goals: Imperm Ash, Imperm normal summoned Poplar, Ash Blossom Sinful spoils after Diabellstar is sacced, Nibiru after Flameberge reborns 1 stars, these should stop their combo or make their board slightly weaker.
- Going 2nd your Turn if they did set up: Your Goal here is to get Appolo on the field and then take it with TTT, then go for OTK, if that is not available then your goal is to use Evenly Matched if available and then setup the board and possibly a fire lock if possible with Protos, and even if that fails then you are kinda done.
- Tip: As you may figured out, if Unicorn is summoned first, it is a bait 99% of the time, so don't interact with it and wait for above mentioned plays.
Last Season I said I went Qixing first always, this time around due to pretty much lack of anything else other than SE Kashtira or SE R-ace, Baronne gave me more success so I would suggest running her first turn again.
I tried Gamma build too, but IMO it does pretty much the same thing as this deck just relies more on interrupting their first turn, but idk lack of consistency due to more Cards and lack of Nibiru kinda hurt it.
Swoso that looks promising is SHS version from 涛涛锟锟BILIBILI and I think that is the only competitive version.
Reason for that is due to every meta deck being 1 card combo and you needing 2 cards for most is putting you at huge disadvantage to begin with, SHS cards resolve this problem as well as giving you ability to lock Fire without saccing anything while also removing the need of Opponent having fire monsters on their side.
