Notes & Combos

Feel free to watch replays on my Youtube Channel for context regarding the information below (I will also publish a full in-depth guide on Labrynth soon). I would ideally have at least x2 Chaos Angel but was very unlucky with the pack:

FAQ:

Why Gigantic and Elf?

They come in clutch rarely, which is why they are at 1, to force lethal damage out of your furniture cards and a potential normal summon of handtraps (Ash, Bell). Gigantic also turns into a 4 material Zeus with Downerd if you need board wipes.

Why no EEV?

The problem with EEV is #1 It is -1 if you draw into it, and #2 it causes a boss monster loss (unless Bystials are already on the field), which is almost never worth it unless you're against Runick. You can still play it, and it is useful against certain match ups, but the meta doesn't really care about EEV, and I found myself beating Runick and mirror match ups without EEV anyway.

Why Ghost Belle?

Belle came in clutch in numerous scenarios. Not only does it interrupt Spright and Tear but it also negates Called By.

Floodgates?

I personally really like floodgates, but you can easily play without them. I also like playing Rivalry with this deck, but it locked me out of plays multiple times with Bystials and Ice Dragon's Prison, so I cut it. Be careful not to Skill Drain your own advantage.
