I switched from the tri-brigade build to this one this season because the first turn board this deck can put out is marginally better and the deck itself is more consistent. This deck can also grind very well and has good follow up for turn 3.
I didn't play gammaburst because it's a brick going first and not completely reliable going second. If there's a high ATK monster that's hard to clear, onibimaru (which is readily available) or smashers (which is far more versatile) usually does the job
I think reboot can be swapped out for imperm or evenly because I didn't see a lot of lab once I got into Master, but I do think they're still rampant in Diamond. It's still great against tear, which were half of the decks in Master.
If there's one issue with this deck it's its vulnerability to super poly which is very prevelant right now partially because of the prevalence of strong fusion builds. Not the end of the world at all as you're only using two cards, usually elf + carrot or catty + forest, and you still have lots of interruptions to work with.
