Notes & Combos
Guiding Quem has a lot of interesting synergies with Bystial Centurion. Most of these revolve around sending Albion the Shrouded Dragon. If you're able to summon an ED monster without using Quem, she can revive the Albion and make another Level 12 synchro. Additionally, Albion's GY eff can be used after, primarily to send Branded Regained to the GY so Branded Beast can fetch it.
Obviously, not everything goes so smoothly. Quem being negated frees up your Centurion plays, but even if the Centurion cards get negated she slots in decently well. Trudea negate isn't ideal, but still lets you access Auxila, albeit with not enough monsters to threaten Blazar next turn. And if Primera gets negated, you make Artemis and trigger Quem's effect, doing the normal Centurion line from there.
Quem's effect can also fetch Albaz (note that you can still use Albion for its 8* body and send Albaz after), though while making Mirrorjade and having access to its banish is potent disruption in theory, in practice it is easier to play around than you might think and is more of a backup than something to aim for. Mercourier is for the not unlikely possibility that Quem doesn't have ED cards to play off and instead you have Bystials, giving them a target that generates advantage, either searching Albion for a draw+send or Virtuous Ecclesia for a tuner extender going second that threatens Albaz.
The Albaz Lore Package is completed with Nadir Servant and Fleurdelis. Nadir Servant needs to be used carefully, but is very potent. Nadir searches Quem or Fleurdelis, though Quem can't really be used to her full potential at that point. Fleur is the option if your normal summon is used, being an 8* extender that can potentially provide disruption if Quem is on the field. I like it more than Maximus because it's better when drawn outside of Nadir Servant, and with VV it's not uncommon for Maximus to backfire.
The ED sends are primarily Luluwalilith or N'tss. N'tss doesn't need much explanation, but Lilith is neat in that it can fetch a Quem during EP, or due to its quirky phrasing, Primera. If a Trudea from Stand-Up is negated, Primera in this case can fetch Emeth, which then summons itself on your opponent's turn and lets Primera resummon herself to set up Legatia. Nadir Servant is very flexible and varies a lot in practice, with the main self-contained line being dump Lilith search Fleur, EP summon Quem dump Albaz for potentially 3 disruptions independently of your Centurion combo.
