Notes & Combos
Why play this?
While climbing with my usual Branded Synchro list I have noticed that
- Voiceless Voice dies hard to Bystials combined with other handtraps
- Yubel has a really difficult time against Seal pass
This is why I attempted to create a deck that would play the most handtraps possible in 40 cards while turboing out Seal going first and abusing the Seal into Albaz into Mirrorjade interaction so few players on ladder expect.
This happened to work really well, and while this deck probably doesn't have the highest winrate or anything, the games you play with it are very fast and you can easily exploit your opponents mistakes, not only gameplay-wise but also mentality-wise, as I have often won games with 0 engine because my tilted opponents scooped at my third handtrap activation.
Card choices
Delta was the 40th card of choice as the perceived best hand-trap after the first 23. Imperm had counter-synergy with Bystials, Nibiru and Gamma so I opted to not play it, but it could still be worth playing.
Branded in White is the follow-up target after making Mirrorjade and dumping Albion to ensure Albion into Furious for 8k+ damage or another Mirrorjade if the first one gets removed.
Black Metal is probably the best way to turbo out Seal while also getting a draw with Regained and another free summon you can make S:P with.
Atum came up once, but is probably cuttable for Rindbrumm or maybe even I:P.
Combos
This deck has no combos, you end on Seal and Regained and pass your turn. That is also the reason I didn't save any replays, you grind with Regained and catch people off guard with Seal summoning Albaz and win like that, no crazy plays needed.
