Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Another season, another rough time. Went from M5 -> M3 (spun my wheels in M3 before going to M4 spinning around there and then deranking) -> M5 -> M1

The start of the climb started off with me going 2-10 for my flips before I called it quits and just did the event. From there, I usually had more tails than heads until I got back to M4 after I deranked back to M5 once.

During my climb, I ended up removing Bottomless and adding in a 3rd Torrential. While I still like Bottomless and having a nice stock of holes in the deck, I felt like I needed another boardwipe to help against Yubel and other decks that aren't named Tear/Unchained/Horus. Overall, Torrential has definitely gotten me into games and has been solid.

I also took out Iron Thunder and added in 2 Unending Nightmares as I was seeing a ton of VV + Yubel and most other decks nowadays usually have some sort of spells that stick on the field. It worked out pretty well. It can even just win some games on its own depending on the match-up. No more having to care about your opponent's Spirit Gates/Thrones/Pains/etc sticking around and constantly plusing them.

I did think about adding in Droll, but never commited to it. I did almost remove Ogre for one.. but Ogre, while isn't always great, has been performing well enough.

The Zoos have been solid. I went into them a nice chunk of times. Easy ways to clear a Yubel field if they don't have Blue Dog alongside the normal contenders, Kash/Horus/etc.

Regarding the ED, TY-PHON/Aussa/Allo have been on the lower end of performing, however, they did put some work in here and there. TY-PHON seems like the most cutable stil.

As for match-ups:

  • VV has been horrendous for me. They either have outs to Imperm when I open it going second or they just plow through my interactions when I go second. I didn't really see them after I added Unending Nightmare though, so if you open that against them, you should be in a decent spot depending on their hand.
  • Yubel isn't the worst, but as with any deck, going second into them can be painful.
  • Branded is still Branded. I didn't face a ton, but the few I did.. opened Evenly + Thrust/Grass in 60.. so take that as you will.
  • Everything else is the same as normal.
