Master 1 pure DM
Hey guys! I'm posting the deck that made me get to Master 1 for the first time here.
- Why robe? I just happened to run him at the time lol. His self-revive effect is useful, but feel free to cut him.
- Why 3 Dark Magician? EVERY DM spell/trap is dead without him. Running 3 gives better chances to complete the DM triangle (Circle-Eternal Soul-DM) with Circle. He's also a good discard for Apprentice Illusion Magician (Makes Soul Servant online turn 1). Running 3 DMs was surprisingly less cloggy than I expected, but feel free to run the standard x2 DM and see how it goes.
- Apprentice Illusion Magician She doesn't triggers Maxx C and her battle trick effect can catch people off guard. She's useful IMO
- The Extra Deck I literally never summoned Guardian Chimera. x2 Artemis, Verte, Dragoon, and Silouhatte Rabbit are mandatory in my opinion. x2 Dragoon could also be good, but I'm too poor in UR dust lol. Other than that, the Extra Deck is flexible IMO. Feel free to experiment!
Combos: The deck doesn't have complex lines, just try to get 2 bodies on the field to go for Verte or Silouhatte Rabbit turn 1 backed up by the DM triangle and/or floodgates. In your ideal opening play you can go for both Rabbit and Verte. This is just what got me to Master 1 but feel free to modify and perfect this deck further! More non engine for going 2nd? sure! I proved pure DM can get to Master 1, that's all, but that's not the end of the journey. Good luck, DM players!
