Notes & Combos
Pretty standard equation cannons deck that aims to beat anything going first and hold an acceptable winrate going second if not literally or virtually FTK-ed.
Deckbuilding considerations:
- All traps I've seen played in this deck that aren't included here such as Torrential Tribute, Weighbridge and Dimensional Barrier tested very poorly and were therefore replaced by Upstart Goblin.
- Runick Destruction is the only good Runick spell and playing the bad ones feels good in that <1% of games when you're playing against tenpai exactly and get Dustered and that one Runick spell is the only safety card you drew, but feels terrible when you open Freezing Curses along with your Lord/Destruction/Judgment and it has 0 impact on your game which happens a lot more often. Destruction is good as it handles Sangen Summoning and some other problematic backrow such as searchable Counter Traps.
- Floodgates win games, play them
- 2 Lady is perfect, she is the worst piece of engine to draw and you really don't want to draw her along with other monsters.
- Cannons targets in the extra could be experimented with. Having too many cards on the boards+hands was a problem more often than too few, so adding rank 7s instead of 6 and 7 fusions is possibly correct.
