Notes & Combos
Finally hit M1! Went something in the realm of 52~-15 on the climb from plat->m1. This meta has been one of the most stressful gaming experiences ever lmao.
No changes from the m5 list. The deck absolutely blows out tenpai, I've only lost 5 or so tenpai games and they were all to blowout cards like reboot/floodgates/tenpai opening custom hands.
General idea is bridging into Lab with gigantic spright through the WF combo (This is only feasible with Astellar, but she's risky to use). Lab can bridge, albeit slowly, by setting woes off Lady if you're given the opportunity. In my experience, many hands either opened access to both engines in some capacity, or Elzette/Astellar to setup the full combo, far more the former than the latter though, it's especially nice since it's safer.
This is still a lot of Jay's list at the core though I'm also on rabbit which is honestly a fantastic card. Some hands you do not have the kinds of disposable traps to fuel Diabell's special summon from the ED. Hatte trick is invaluable in still getting interaction while also being able to pay Diabell's cost, or being able to be used to synchro into diabell OR being a target to bounce for BW if you for some reason really need it.
One thing this deck does amazingly well, is play under Maxx C. Opening Silvy plus furniture gives you an absurd powerful play for 0 draws and you can extend a little further to setup rabbit, SP, Rciela etc etc if you'd like. But several games were won to the opponent going -1 with maxx c into send woes with furn->BW/Woes and whatever other traps I opened.
Going 2nd isn't as bad as you'd think. Furniture send woes provides a lot of insulation on your turn and there's always the threat of maxx c drawing into Arias. I would definitely consider 3x Arias 3x Trap Trick with adjusting the WF/Lab ratios to compliment. Arias can provide fantastic insulation against targeted interaction if you open Woes/BW/Trick.
