Notes & Combos

  • Prioritize Bestchiri if the opponent makes you go first; prioritize Microcoder/Kekflict if the other guy is playing any sort of PILE deck.
    • Plenty of Branded / Centurdion / Tear / Yoobol / SEFK bozos where Kekflict can win game on its own, additional insulation for PepegaFactorial notwithstanding.
  • Removed Singularity this season - not enough stun/backrow decks to justify running (as these are the matchups where you're least likely to be hit by 3+ HTs and where its bounce is almost always useful).
  • Tenpai players come in waves. Of course, appearing only when you win the coin toss. Of course!

I’m sorry but with age i must be getting dumber. I have a few questions. Bestchiri is @ gatchiri? Kekflict is cynet conflict? ‘ additional insulation for PepegaFactorial notwithstanding’ I don’t understand what you mean, would you explain please? In this regard what’s the end board where cynet conflict is activate-able? I don’t mean to be a ****, just want to learn more. Last season I got to M5 with a very similar list but this season I’m stuck between D5 and D4. Everyone seems to always have the perfect hand to counter my plays not to mention the hand trap bonanza that’s going on.

Yes and Yes.

  • While Kekflict will help insulate PepegaFactorial (and in fact, will be its purpose for many games), it is game-winning on its own against certain Tearlament / Yoobol openers, and is your primary out to Turdpais sacking random **** like Red Reboot or Droplet, or to otherwise negate monster effects that you absolutely don't want resolving if you don't have imperm/veiler (or if they activate from hand/GY). Laplacian, Mereological, and Packbit all activate on the next chain at the earliest!

  • You tutor/search Kekflict by sending Micro4HeadCoder with your first TeraHertz mill, and using Splash Mage to revive it to your field. This typically requires you to open MethKek Cuckular & 1 Extender, or have otherwise Splash Mage (without using its effect) + Link Decoder + Body already on the field before making Transcode Talker. You make Bestchiri in the same way (spend Terahertz mill, revive with Splash) unless you opened it (in which case, it functions as its own extender).

  • Alternatively, you can use Small World or Cynet Mining to search Bestchiri/Micro4HeadCoder if your hand is particularly good that game (and aren't forced to use them to get Diameter) for access, which frees up an extra TeraHertz mill.

  • Yes, this is a handtrap-spam meta, so more often than not you will either be forced to spend a Terahertz mill or outright lose access to PepegaFactorial (from opponent opening Crows and/or Bystial PizzaHut, or double imperming your MethKek opener).

D5-D3 has IME been the hardest to climb out of for a couple seasons now, as MethKek is kind of weak going 2nd into trap (e.g. stun / stun-with-extra-steps) decks without outright running backrow hate, so you're forced to RNG the matchups until you can get a win-streak out.
